Welcome To TorreySpears.com!
Welcome. To the next generation of political commentary, social observation, and a safe haven for common sense thinkers of America – and the world. This is TorreySpears.com and I am the webmaster – Torrey M. Spears.
For far too long, the arena of debate and discussion has been hijacked by political special interests, closed minded ideologues, and slaves to the status quo. I hope this website, along with the others networked to this website, will offer you a fresh alternative to the mundane websites along the World Wide Web.
I have spent years blogging about politics, religion, sports, and life in general. But I feel like there’s so much more to be done… work to be tackled by you and I – as common sense thinkers. We live in perilous and confusing times, and the clutter from the establishment media and the political intelligentsia can seem overwhelming!
That’s why what was once a Sunday afternoon habit has now matured into your stop for Conservative commentary and the open exchange of ideas.
Who am I? I invite you to read my bio for more information – but basically, I’m you. I’m an American first… Conservative second… Republican third… concerned about the state of the union and the lack of consistent common sense being portrayed in our media and across the Internet.
I believe that we can disagree on political and philosophical planes – but the surpression of debate is threatening what I believe to be the greatest social experiment in the history of mankind – the United States of America.
We are an exceptional people living in exceptional times – and I believe we have more to learn from one another if we just listen… debate… and discuss.
I’m an unapologetic Conservative… a non-hyphenated American who holds these truths to be self evident: That all men are created equal by our Creator endowed with certain inalienable rights… life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
I believe you’ll find all of that and more – here – at TorreySpears.com
God bless,
- TMS
